Laundry Room: InstaHanger
Do you prefer to say air dry or hang dry?
I needed a space to hang dry clothes that wouldn’t require me to have this large piece of additional furniture in my laundry room. Living in a mobile home the past two years has been tricky and has taught me self control when I’m only purchasing things that serve an intentional and functional purpose in our home. Then I’m not purchasing things just because they’re cute or a good deal any time there’s a sale or I go into town. I’m ALL about space saving and using every hidden space in our mobile home! Honestly, between the kid’s larger toys and losing our office space from our previous home, we don’t have the space for extra things. So, here is my space-saving hack for if you have a small laundry room or just don’t want something big and bulky to hang dry clothes!

Features:
Retractable rack: The white cover and rod fold simultaneously. To open, simply pull the white cover piece towards you and the metal rod slides down. When your clothes are done hang drying, simply push the metal rod up and the white cover collapses.
Weight limit: Holds up to 60 pounds.
2 mounting options: A wall mount (this is the way we chose to mount it in our laundry room) or an over the door bracket.
Dimensions: Opened 14"D x 3"W x 18"H. Closed 18” H x 3” W x 2” D. Hanging space is 12”.
Includes: 1 Instahanger (you can purchase it in a 2 pack also), marking template, screws, and anchors.
Pros:
It’s slim and discreet. I love that it doesn’t take up floor space in our laundry room and doesn’t take up storage space somewhere else when closed. The white cover hides the 12” rod perfectly.
It’s sturdy and durable. We haven’t had any issues of it coming loose or falling off the wall while hanging clothes from it, even with several wet pieces of clothing. It can hold up to 60 pounds.
It’s Versatile. Hang it in your laundry room or in a closet to hang dry clothes.
Cons:
If you need to hang more than 10-12 pieces of wet clothing at a time, you may want to get more than one Instahanger.
The Instahanger is only available in white.
